Dick Van Dyke

Dick Van Dyke is perhaps one of Americas most beloved television and movie actors. His biggest claim to fame is the role of lovable Rob Petrie opposite Mary Tyler Moore on the hit sitcom "The Dick Van Dyke Show" (1961-1966). He has also enjoyed widespread popularity as Dr. Mark Sloan on "Diagnosis Murder". His latest role is Cecil in the hit movie "Night at the Museum". He looks to be in fantastic health in it !

Dick Van Dyke was launched to stardom in the 1960 musical "Bye-Bye Birdie" (for which he won a Tony Award), and then later in the movie based on that play. He was a talented dancer and some of the most amazing dance numbers in movie history are in the film "Mary Poppins" are electrifying.

He has starred in a number of timeless classics including "Mary Poppins" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".

Dick Van Dyke is a master of physical comedy. His comic inspiration was Stan Laurel, of Laurel and Hardy fame.(if you're not familiar with Laurel and Hardy please check them out !)
